We’re a small and independent company seeking a self-motivated, highly organized and versatile individual who is passionate about growing a business and having a direct impact on building a sustainable and craft-focused brand. We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the retail experience at Que, and manage all aspects of retail operations, customer service, sales and marketing, and the team building. Through daily operations, thoughtful communication, internal teamwork, this position is an integral member of the Que and Kaarem teams and requires strong attention to detail, effective time management, and creative problem solving skills. Deep appreciation for quality products, competitive strategy and positive attitude are a must. You will learn the inner workings of the retail environment and collaborate across e-commerce, buying, design & production, creative, and marketing, as all aspects of the business are managed in-house.

Responsibilities

- Budgeting and strategizing for growth
- Weekly sales reporting & seasonal sales reporting
- Hiring, training, and scheduling store staff
- Overseeing product buying assortment and budget
- Greet and engage customers, ensure all visitors feel welcome in our store and space
- Cultivate an amazing customer experience with stellar interpersonal communication
- Manage sales floor and drive exceptional retail experience
- Identify opportunities to grow within sales strategy and process, product assortment and customer service
- Creating & implementing store policies, standards and procedures
- Ensure opening/closing procedures are properly executed
- Retail operations includes point of sale and reporting operations, loss prevention, managing inventory, and flawless management of purchase order entry, modification, and confirmation
- Overall account space management, includes: i.e. internet, security, electrical, hydro, cleaner etc.
- Managing store visual merchandising standards and cleanliness
-Overseeing in-store marketing, including promo planning, newsletters and customer outreach
- Gather and distribute ongoing product knowledge to the team
- Managing Vietnam-based e-commerce and oversee order fulfillment from the store
- Producing and planning in-store events, and external community events
- Banking and daily sales transactions
- Confirm that deposit slips, spreadsheets, envelopes and deposit bags are correctly filled out and discrepancies are reconciled and cleared by accounting
- Executing lead cashier responsibilities such as return and exchanges
- Managing pre-shooting program, marketing and promotion of products
- Overseeing Que social media and contribute to overall content calendar

Ideal Candidate

- Minimum 2 years retail management or related sales experience
- Bilingual in Vietnamese and English
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Is proactive, professional, and eager to learn with a positive attitude
- Innovates independently but excels as a team
- Enjoys problem solving
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and highly organized with impeccable detail
- Sets priorities, works with urgency, and provides follow-through and follow-up
- Comfortable working in an intimate, fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous work environment
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape in Vietnam and abroad
- Ability to analyze sales and market data and prepare reports and presentations with critical information
- Proficient in Excel, Google Docs, Slack, Asana, and experience using a retail POS
- Some Adobe suite skills are a plus.
- Newsletter content development and creation is a plus.

Relationship

- Report and work directly with the founders of Kaarem.
- Partner alongside Que Upstairs manager.
- Directly manage Que store staff.
- Position may also include the management of assistants, contractors, and interns.
- Position to manage possible relationships with vendors and suppliers.
