Black Silk Filter 4-Layer Reusable Face Mask
Thank you for your support - your purchase will help us to continue to run our production studio in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Since March 22nd, we have dedicated our entire production team to make personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies and have donated these initial batches to various hospitals through Masks for Heroes and direct requests from healthcare offices. Moving forward, we plan to have a dedicated part of our team focus on this effort to produce and donate more PPE to healthcare workers.
The masks are designed and crafted the Kaarem way, with keen attention to construction, sustainability (remnant fabric is used) and handcrafted quality. Here are some key features:
- For the silk face masks, we cut by hand and carefully hand-basted a middle layer of organic cotton in between the outer and lining layers. The 4th layer is an optional filter insert.
- The pattern has a small dart on both sides of the nose for a closer fit to the face. It is designed to fit high on the nose, and to fit underneath the chin.
- We made our own ear loops out of 4-way stretch jersey that was sewn inside out so that the softer fabric touches the skin.
These are non-medical, reusable masks. It is NOT meant to be a substitute for medical-grade equipment or FDA approved. We do NOT include a filter. This mask is designed with an insert which is optional for you to add an insert inside.
