Crafted from a lightweight cotton silk blend, this boatneck Áo dài tunic dress features a sleeveless design with sheer fabric and side slits starting at the high waist. The extended armholes allow for a flexible fit at the bust, while the attached scarf-like tie at the neck can be tied into a bow at the back or front. No buttons or zippers are needed, simply wear by slipping it over your head.
Handcrafted with a blind hem stitch in our Saigon studio. Available in black and lemon (limited quantities in lemon).

The Blind Hem Stitch is Kaarem’s commitment to and celebration of cultural preservation. The craft of making an áo dài, the traditional Vietnamese garment that inspires the collections, focuses on the use of the Blind Hem Stitch where no seams are visible on the exterior. Kaarem is influenced by these age-old Vietnamese sewing techniques, and we seek to update them for our clothing designs. In each Kaarem piece, you will find the handcrafted care from our production studio team in Saigon.
