The Fox-Eye piece is inspired by the traditional Vietnamese “Yếm” top, once an essential undergarment in Vietnamese wardrobes. Handknoted from 100% silk remnants collected in our studio, this piece highlights both meticulous craftsmanship and a commitment to sustainability. Lightweight and breathable, the Fox-Eye tunic can be styled on its own or layered for a variety of looks.
To make this piece, we cut thin strips and sew them together, then turn it inside out so the seams are hidden—a technique the founders learned as children while helping their parents hand-sew clothes at home. This inherited craft, passed down through generations, remains at the heart of every Kết Top we create.
Kết, meaning “to connect” or “to knit,” represents the spirit of this top—connecting the craft of the past with the techniques and needs of today. Each Kết Top is entirely handmade, handknotted in our studio, making every piece unique and personal, with a story of sustainability and artistry in every stitch.
Each piece is crafted with zero-waste techniques, giving new life to leftover fabrics and bridging the past with the future. Designed for all seasons, these modular and multi-functional designs honor the spirit of sustainability and craftsmanship.

The Blind Hem Stitch is Kaarem’s commitment to and celebration of cultural preservation. The craft of making an áo dài, the traditional Vietnamese garment that inspires the collections, focuses on the use of the Blind Hem Stitch where no seams are visible on the exterior. Kaarem is influenced by these age-old Vietnamese sewing techniques, and we seek to update them for our clothing designs. In each Kaarem piece, you will find the handcrafted care from our production studio team in Saigon.
