The Two-Three Dress is a new version of our studio uniform design, updated with a striking color-blocked aesthetic. Thoughtfully constructed with four fabric panels—two in the back and two in the front—it features clean lines and bold contrasts. Featuring a round neckline with a subtle V-shaped opening in the back for easy over-the-head wear, this A-line dress falls to a flattering mid-length, just past the knee. Style it effortlessly with wide-leg pants for a bold and contemporary look.
Nhị Tam, meaning "Two-Three" in Vietnamese, reflects the dress’s thoughtful composition. "Two" represents the two colors used, while "Three" highlights the three front panels that share the same color, creating a balanced yet striking contrast with the bold single panel in the back. Each dress will vary in the placement of the color blocks based on the fabric pieces available in our studio, embracing a zero-waste approach to minimize textile waste. The Blind Hem Stitch is Kaarem’s commitment to and celebration of cultural preservation. The craft of making an áo dài, the traditional Vietnamese garment that inspires the collections, focuses on the use of the Blind Hem Stitch where no seams are visible on the exterior. Kaarem is influenced by these age-old Vietnamese sewing techniques, and we seek to update them for our clothing designs. In each Kaarem piece, you will find the handcrafted care from our production studio team in Saigon.
