Inspired by the initial growth of mushrooms found under cây Tùng Thơm at Que’s garden; Kaarem’s studio director and tender of plants set out to create a hat that evokes the mushroom’s spirit and to help shield us from UV rays whilst keeping us cool.

From that gesture, our first foray into hat making emerged—approached in the same manner as our garments, the hats are made entirely by hand in our Saigon based production studio using remnant fabric from some of our most ubiquitous designs. With functionality and comfort in mind, our design philosophy was to create something that everyone can wear and becomes a part of the everyday.

The result is a lightweight, foldable and reversible hat with seams kept to a minimum that can take the wearer into any activity they embark upon. Below is documentation of some friends in Saigon wearing the Mushroom Bucket Hat in different contexts.

Những chiếc nấm bé xíu được tìm thấy ở dưới gốc cây Tùng Thơm ở Que, đó là một thế giới bé nhỏ bình yên và mát mẻ. Kaarem đã hiện thực hoá nó vào cuộc sống khi lấy ý tưởng từ hình ảnh cây nấm để thiết kế những chiếc mũ nhẹ nhàng thoáng mát cho mùa hè.

Với 2 màu chính được chọn là màu xanh rêu với sự kết hợp tự nhiên của sợi lanh và lụa. Và màu vàng từ linen được Studio của Kaarem nhuộm từ vỏ trái măng cụt . Ngoài ra Kaarem cũng làm thêm nhiều màu và chất liệu khác dựa vào số vải vụn có trong studio.

Vẫn là phong cách của Kaarem khi đưa rất nhiều kỹ thuật làm tay và may để giảm thiểu rất nhiều đường may hiện ra bên ngoài nhưng vẫn giữ được dáng cho Mũ Nấm.
