A limited-edition artist tee featuring original artwork by Trương Công Tùng, made for his 2026 solo exhibition Olit Olit Che Cha Chà Uytt Chit Chítt… at Á Space in Hà Nội.
The title reads like a creature learning to speak. Olit Olit Che Cha Chà Uytt Chit Chítt… was Trương Công Tùng's 2026 solo show at Á Space, an independent space for experimental art in Hà Nội, Vietnam. Curated by Linh Lê, it imagined life after humans: strange forms of existence shaped by industry and mass consumption, filling the room like a laboratory, or the remains of a lost civilization.
This tee carries a detail of Tùng's artwork from the show. It was designed and produced in Vietnam by Ivy Võ and Đức Cao, with support from Kaarem. Limited run. Profits shared with Á Space to support its program.
About the artist:
Trương Công Tùng (b. 1986) grew up in Đắk Lắk, in Vietnam's Central Highlands, and is based in Ho Chi Minh City. Trained in lacquer painting, he works across installation, video, painting and found objects, looking at how modernization reshapes the land, beliefs and myths of his homeland. He is a member of the Art Labor collective and has shown at Hamburger Kunsthalle, Canal Projects (New York), Sàn Art and MUSEION. In 2026 he was named a joint winner of the Arnaldo Pomodoro Sculpture Prize.
Why KAAREM:
Kaarem was born between Vietnam and the diaspora, with a studio in Saigon and roots in California and New York, and we've always believed our stories travel through what we make and wear. Supporting Trương Công Tùng's exhibition at Á Space, and bringing this shirt to people outside Vietnam, is how we keep that bridge open for Vietnamese artists.
Available in two colors: Black and White.
